Buffalo Releases Starting CB Drayton Florence

NFL.com’s Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Bills have released cornerback Drayton Florence.

Florence was a starter for the Bills the past three seasons, and last season and in 2010 he started every game, and in those two years had six picks and two touchdowns.

In 3 seasons with the Bills, Florence had 38 passes defensed and seven interceptions. He originally entered the league in 2003 with the Chargers and played his first five seasons in San Diego before spending one season with the Jaguars prior to coming to Buffalo. He has 17 career interceptions.
