By now, if you’re a reader of sports “blogs” as opposed to “mainstream” sports sites - cue Minneapolis Star-Tribune pitch meeting roundtable idea: “But aren’t they the same thing now?” - you are well-enough informed that you know all the main stories, headlines and concepts for this weekend. As well you should - you’ve probably been waiting for it since October 31st (Texas/Oklahoma State and USC/Oregon) which, with the possible exception of OSU/Iowa, seemed to be the last majorly relevant weekend this season. But now, the glory that is December 5th has dawned upon us. It’s time to talk football. And we’ll do it in a slightly different way.
